Charles Schulz Draws Batman

DC Universe, Marvel Universe...It's all really just one big universe when you get right down to it. I mean, isn't that what the prefix "uni" implies? Let's face it, Judge Dredd has met Batman, Batman has met the Punisher, the Punisher has met Archie Andrews and Archie has met comedian Soupy Sales. The Fantastic Four have met Superman who has met today's birthday boy Jerry Lewis, Bugs Bunny, Captain Carrot and the Nestles Quik Bunny! Bugs has met the Monkees and Humphrey Bogart. Captain Carrot has even met Dorothy Gale, late of Kansas. Jerry, on the other hand, appeared with Abbott and Costello who, of course, met Frankenstein, the Mummy and Boris Karloff amongst others. Anyhow, the gist of this is that I guess we really shouldn't be surprised to see the Caped Crusader grabbing a quick snooze on top of Snoopy's doghouse in this original sketch done for sixties BATMAN artist Carmine Infantino and taken from J. David Spurlock's 2001 THE AMAZING WORLD OF CARMINE INFANTINO.
